Played the Wormhole Tuesday night. Aaron and Molly's neighbors came. That was about it. The gentleman we were opening up for had canceled. Aaron was very happy that they put Hillbilly Jazz on the marquee out front. It was a good opportunity to run through some songs and see how it sounded in that venue. M and E came by to see us but we had left by then. Two more shows this week.

Went to Pecha Kucha at Structured Green last night. Craig was outstanding, I looked at those clocks and it all seemed so clear. Make things that can make things happen. The mechanism of the project to propel the work makes perfect sense. How far can you move that line forward and continue to have people nodding in agreement. That seems to be the way to go, or at least that seems to be the way it needs to be for me. How to make something that is repulsive that still can't be denied.

Working on the panel for Adam's project. Things are coming together overall, but it's odd there is not more enthusiasm. If it were me I'd be pretty happy to be able to tap into this as a student.
Need to get this going so I can finish up some other items at the studio.

Playing the Open house tomorrow night. Brought two pieces over for it. One is not finished, but I'm liking it that way. That's how things may go in the future. We'll see what France brings. Six weeks until departure. Got my new passport, electronic chip imbedded. Need to get some miles under me or there will be problems.

Played in Ardsley Park. Neighborhood party. We did one last fall. The News was there need to watch tonight, kids were dancing, some really well, really little kids. Our hosts were very nice. We enjoy playing there. WG's was fine last night, not miked up, and had the amp up just enough to level us all off. It sounded really good. The nice thing was we could tell.

Moved one piece over for the show today. Too many things scheduled, will do the rest Wed.
There will be a total of three. Looking forward to hanging them in-progress.
Finally over being sick. That was annoying. Can't afford to have that happen this week.

Tested a vegetable pullao for the next big meal. It's in. Now we have rice for four days. Could be worse. It's nice to have another versatile element to the possibilities. Already ate it twice today, might go back for more before going to bed. A is making pizza so that might shut down the interest in the pullao.

A is looking for suits for the summer. Some good choices out there. P went to her friends house today, it had been a while. G hung out with H on Saturday, and E on Sunday. He brought his net to the beach early Saturday evening . I need to ask him about that.

Need to paint again tomorrow. There's not a lot of time left, but I could get several more things done that would set me up for maximum production going into the summer. No reason not to. A is a scientist in her lab with the new work. I'd love to be doing that.

No atlanta for me

Canceled the trip to Atlanta, still fighting the illness. Really disappointed, would have loved to be there for Craig's opening.
Hoping to get some studio time this weekend to finish up work to hang for the house show.
Either way it'll be fine.

Must get healthy for the four gigs this week, Saturday @WG's, Sunday @Ardsley, Tuesday @the Wormhole, and Friday @ Open House. Hoping to record on Wednesday, we really need to get the new CD out.

A is working on portraits, she thanks me for the shout out. J sent this photo from open studio. Lots of action.

Long day with lots of problem solving.
Some good news some bad news, but nothing too horrific.

Put up the first set of maquettes. It's much easier to see, and it looks like it could be quite good. Just need to get everybody on board. No reason not to. Either way it'll be fine.

The rest of the day:
SJ surprised me, was not expecting that.
Resolved a conflict, sort of. Really unnecessary and annoying.
Painted, three days in a row now, worked on the A/G painting. Looked at the four person portrait.Still not sure when I'm dropping the work for the house show.
Kimmelman lecture tonight, was exactly what we needed to hear.
Dinner after, it was good, but way too late.
Rode in the a.m.
Might be coming down with a cold.

MF joined us playing at WG's last night.
It was hard to hear everyone, lots of chatter.
The second set was definitely better. A good amount of sing along and dancing at the end thanks to AF, MP, JP, and others. It's nice to see the kids there.
A and J are now regulars, they met the three straight Saturday requirement.

G and P asked me to make a fitness routine for them, the whole family is doing it now.
It'll be good for them to go into the summer with more energy.

Surprise breakfast this morning.
Worked on the maquette, going to the studio too. May 1 deadline looms.
Did not ride yesterday, that will be remedied today.

Fall schedule adjusted, we'll see how it goes.

Met Charles at MR Friday night, he leaves town Sunday, joined by Molly and Aaron.
Planning a two person show, perhaps by next winter.
Discussed the upcoming European tour for the Trio.
Had dinner Thursday night at E, missed the HC talk as a result, not an issue.
Playing WG's tonight...eight to go.
